Interior Minister، Magdy Abdel Ghaffar held a meeting with a number of his assistances and security leaders on Wednesday to follow-up the plan of securing presidential elections.
The Minister thanked the efforts exerted by the police in cooperation with the armed forces to achieve security throughout the country during the recent period.
He stressed that these efforts and sacrifices are appreciated by the political leadership and the masses of the great Egyptian people.
Abdul Ghaffar reviewed the comprehensive security plan which was finalized by the ministry to secure the presidential elections in full coordination with the armed forces to ensure the safe environment for citizens during voting.
He directed to intensify security patrols to coincide with the elections inside and outside cities، roads and ports.
Abdel Ghaffar also ordered to activate checkpoints role، ambushes، static and mobile centers on all axes، as well as taking all securing measures to protect important and vital installations in all provinces and face all elements outlawed.
