Tahya Misr fund ceremony kicked off، Thursday evening، at Massa Hotel، in Madinet Nasr، Cairo، amid the attendee of officials، public figures، and celebrities.
Among the officials، and public figures، was Minister of Communications and Information Technology، Yasser al-Kady، Minister of International Cooperation، Sahar Nasr، Secretary General of “Tahya Misr” fund، General Mohamed El Amin، Former Foreign Minister، Ambassador، Mohammed al-Orabi، businessman Ahmed Abu Hashima، Usama Heikal، Chairman of Media Production City، and others.
A number of media personnel were also keen to attend the ceremony including، TV host Sanaa Mansour، Journalist Yasser Rizk، journalist and TV host، Abdel Latif El Menawy، TV anchor Ahmed Tahiri، director of radio station Sham FM Ahmed Tahiri and his wife، TV host Suhair Jouda، and TV anchor Boussi Shalabi، who presented the ceremony.
On the other hand، a number of celebrities had also attended the ceremony including، Dr. Medhat al-Adl and his wife، Laila Elwy، Leila Alawi، Fifi Abdo، Raja al –Jeddawi، and Fadya Abdel Ghany.
The evening featured the performances of Jordanian singer-songwriter Omar Al-Abdallat، Egyptian legend Amr Diab، and Tunisian megastar Latifa.
The ceremony kicked off with Al-Abdallat performance، which was followed by Latifa’s، and Amr.
The concert is held on the occasion of the Spring Festival and Sham El-Nessim، which revenue is allocated for the benefit of Tahya Misr fund.
The evening also featured، Latifa being honored for donating her concert’s revenue for the benefit of Tahya Misr fund.
During her performance، Latifa performed a number of her songs including، “Fresh”، “ Ya Sidi Massi”، “Lamma Yegebo Sertak”، “Masnaa El Regala”، “Um El Dunia Masr”، “Al-Masry”.
She also performed "Amin" song on the occasion of the second presidential election success.
President Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi won a second term in office with 97.08% of votes، National Elections authority “NEA” announced on April 2.
In February، NEA announced the final list of the candidates، including current President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and head of al-Ghad Party Moussa Moustafa Moussa. Sisi has chosen a star as his symbol in the election، while Moussa chose a plane as his symbol.
