Al-Sisi attends military parade within Gulf Shield drills in Saudi Arabia

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi، Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and the heads of state and senior representatives of 25 countries on Monday attended a military parade within the closing ceremony of the Gulf Shield drills..

The participating forces presented an air show as part of the conclusion of the joint Gulf Shield exercises.
Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi arrived in the eastern region of Jubail in Saudi Arabia to attend today Monday the close of Gulf Shield 1 military drills in Saudi Arabia.

Egyptian president was accompanied by King Salman of Saudi Arabia to oversee the final day of the drills، which included military forces from 24 Arab and Muslim states.


Some forces affiliated to the Egyptian army left on March 19 for Saudi Arabia to partake in (Gulf Shield 1) joint drills with the participation of ground، naval and air forces from the GCC member states and a number of sisterly countries.

The Egyptian Armed Forces have previously stated that the drills aim at exchanging expertise in the fields of planning، organizing and implementing different training activities and developing the military readiness of participating countries to secure vital targets، face possible threats and protect maritime corridors
