Cairo Economic court decided today to adjourn trail of Issa Hayatou، Former Chairman of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Hesham Al Omrany، former secretary of the CAF.
Hayatou and his colleague were tried for violating a law prohibits practices linked to monopoly.
The two defendants will appear in the court again on May 7.
It is worth to mention that Dr Mona Al Garff، Head of Agency of Protection Against Monopoly Practices، had submitted a notification accusing Hayatou and Al Omrany with abusing articles of the law mentioned above.
They were manipulated rights to broadcast football championships as they tasked a company to exploit the CAF rights illegally for 12 years.
