Investment Minister Sahar Nasr inaugurated on Tuesday Middle East Investment Conference 2018، in the presence of senior officials. Dr. Sahar Nasr expressed her pleasure for hosting this important regional conference for the first time. She stressed that hosting this event is a reflection of the success of the economic reform program، pointing out that the government continues the reform process to reach Egypt's normal status as one of the most important investment targets in the world. The government aims to attract investments in employment sectors، especially in the most needy areas such as Upper Egypt and Sinai، Nasr added.
the minister pointed out that most of the investments in Egypt come from the European Union، the United States and Arab countries. Meanwhile، the government has developed a new strategy to attract investment from East Asia، especially China، Nasr revealed.
