The Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International ministry، Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams، has predicted that West Africa will soon experience its version of the Arab Revolution.
According to a report by MyNewsGH.com، he stated that the root cause of the event، which will happen between 5 to 10 years، will be the prevailing despondency of the youth in the sub-region. This formed part of the message he preached at church on Sunday، April 22، 2018، during church service.
He is reported to have stated that “the Arab revolution is something that is in the pipeline، and it’s coming to West Africa.” He went on to say that based on his knowledge as a student of history، prophecy and paradigms، he is convinced the revolution will happen soon.
Explaining his prediction، the man of God noted that there is a serious challenge in West Africa، and from the long-term perspective، it may result in unpleasant circumstances. “The private sector is not creating wealth because for whatever reason، we are destroying the private sector through this vicious cycle of malicious prosecution”، he added.
The Arab Revolution، was a wave of both violent and non-violent protests، foreign interventions and civil wars in North Africa and the Middle East. It began on December 18، 2010 in Tunisia، with the Tunisian Revolution. Several other countries experienced major uprisings، social violence and the toppling of regimes.
