Egypt’s President Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi received today Orlish Schweishofer، Chief Executive Officer of ABB، the world's leading company for energy and electrical interconnection.
Dr. Mohammed Shaker، Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy and Swedish Ambassador in Cairo، Paul Garnier attended the meeting، said presidential spokesman Bassam Radi.
Al-Sisi referred to Egypt's interest in becoming a regional center and bridge for energy، pointing to the efforts exerted by the State to develop the electricity and energy system in a comprehensive manner.
Al Sisi pointed out the prospects for benefiting from the solutions، systems and technologies in the fields of electricity and energy.
For his part، Schweishofer said ABB has invested more than $ 200 million in Egypt.
Moreover، he added that ABB has 5 factories in the city of the tenth of Ramadan، and about 3500 employees in Egypt.
