Thunder rains hit Upper Egypt، Northern coasts: EMA

Dr Ahmed Abdel Aal، Head of the Egyptian Meteorological Agency (EMA) said that Egypt experiences a snap of lousy weather tonight.
He pointed out that lower and medium-dragged clouds hang over the northern parts of the country.
Rain falls in the northern coasts، Cairo، Delta and the Middle Egypt.
Parts of Sinai Peninsula exposed to torrents.
Abdel Aal warned that the bad weather spell will run for three days.
He revealed that clear weather will be forecasted on Friday.
Snow، showers hit Fayoum fiercely this evening
It is worth to mention that a spell of bad weather hit Fayoum Governorate، 100 km south west to Cairo، this evening.
Experts said that this snap of lousy conditions was the worst in years.
Snow falls in most parts of that province.
Strong winds uprooted trees in streets and parks.
Locals heard thunder and saw lighting lit the macabre sky over their heads، meanwhile showers hit heavily.
Snow covers streets and the inner parts of the governorate.
Shops were shut down and people escaped streets to their homes.
It is worth to mention that Egypt experiences dire weather in the course of spring.
Hot wind blows up at the desert and carry dust and sand that shroud cities and villages in thick pall.
