MP، Mohamed el-Badrawy said that the Economic committee of the parliament will hold a meeting tomorrow، Sunday in the presence of Supply Minister، Ali Mselhi.
In statements to “Sada ElBalad” News Website، el-Badrawy stressed that during the meeting، Mselhi will discuss ration cards problems، and the ministry’s preparations ahead of Holy Month of Ramadan to provide basic goods at reasonable prices.
“Ahlan Ramadan Super Market” Fair organized by the government and the General Federation for Chambers of Commerce was inaugurated on May 10.
With the advent of the holy month of Ramadan every year، the government strives to provide the market with essential foodstuffs.
Demand usually peaks in Ramadan so the government every year makes sure to provide the market with enough quantities of goods to prevent price hikes.
The fasting month of Ramadan is set to start on 17 May.
