Mohamed Salah has found the best place 'on this planet' to showcase his talents after a phenomenal debut campaign at Anfield، Liverpool Echo reported.
The Egyptian notched his 32ND league goal of the season with the opener against Brighton on Sunday، as the Reds confirmed their top four place with a 4-0 victory.
The strike meant Salah broke the record for most goals in a 38-game Premier League season، and took his overall tally to 44 in a remarkable first year at the club.
Aside from his goalscoring exploits on Merseyside، Salah has become an icon on the global stage and will have the hopes of Egypt resting on his shoulders at the World Cup this summer.
It has been a dramatic rise for the 25-year-old، who moved to Liverpool from Roma in a £36.9million deal last summer.
After scoring 19 times for the Italians last season، Salah has stepped up several levels and become one of the world's best players.
Writing in his BBC Sport column، Garth Crooks believes the forward has found the perfect place for his work to be appreciated.
He said: “What this lad has done for Egyptian football، not to mention social cohesion، cannot be quantified.
“What I can tell you is there is no better place on the planet than Liverpool Football Club to appreciate the talents of Mohamed Salah. He has had the most wonderful season.
“I'm not entirely sure what I have enjoyed more - the striker bearing down on the opposition with such blistering pace and leaving defenders in his wake، or his glorious ice-cool finishes. A chorus of Mo Salah، Mo Salah، Mo Salah' ringing around Anfield is not far behind، by the way.
“Put that all together and there cannot be a better place on the planet for a player of Salah's class to play his football.”
Salah was the only Liverpool player named in Crooks' team of the year however، with Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero preferred to Roberto Firmino.
