French army forces deployed six artillery batteries on the border between Syria and Iraq on Sunday.
According to Turkey's Anadolu news agency، the French troops deployed their batteries north of the village of Baguz.
It added that the French army is strengthening its presence in the areas of Manbij، Hassake، Ain Issa and Raqqa، which are controlled by Kurdish organizations supported by United States.
This comes after the Syrian army detained on May 1 sixty French snipers was carrying by 20 four-wheel-drive vehicles at a checkpoint in the city of Manbj in the province of Hasaka near the Turkish border.
