Dutch company designs a new tunnel under Suez Canal

Dutch company “Arcades” is set to design a new tunnel under the Suez Canal.
According to “on you” Dutch website Arcades will design a new tunnel under Suez Canal. “On you” noted that this is the second time Arcades designs a tunnel under the important Canal which link between the Red sea and the Mediterranean.
The website pointed out that the tunnel will be 3 km long near Suez city. He explained that the project is a part of wide initiative over years to develop the region and to encourage the economical growth in Egypt.
It also pointed out the tunnel diameter reaches to 13 meters with a depth of 40 meters as a maximum. Arcades will carry out the responsibility to provide all designs and Egyptians companies will carry out the implement of the project.
Arcades manager Jert Caron revealed his happiness of this deal. He confirmed that the company has already approved its ability to take new tasks in Egypt especially after designing Ismailia road.
Caron said “time was short during the first tunnel but we presented a strong design on the time.”
