Egyptian Player Mohamed Salah، Liverpool’s winger، is likely to miss Egypt’s first clash against Uruguay in 2018 World Cup in Russia after his heartbreaking injury in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Officials of the Egyptian Football Association announced that it will be difficult for Mohamed Salah to participate in the Pharaohs’ first clash in Russia World Cup، which will be against Uruguay on June 15، according to preliminary reports of on Mo-Salah injury.

Salah has returned to England، Merseyside، instead of traveling to Italy to join Egypt's squad to prepare for the friendly against Colombia in the run-up to the 2018 World Cup in Russia، to conduct new x-rays and define the final status of his injury.

The English club’s officials told Abul-Ela، who is part of the national team’s training camp in Italy، that an x-ray was performed on Salah’s shoulder، which showed that he suffered from torn ligaments in the shoulder joint، and that the duration of his absence will not exceed three weeks.

The injury took place due to a challenge for the ball between Salah and Madrid captain Sergio Ramos. The Spaniard tried to overtake Salah to gain back possession، but the force took down both the players and Salah landed awkwardly on his shoulder.
