Many people fell in health disasters at Iftar meal during Ramadan، which threatens the health of the liver، kidneys، and pancreas.
Most people are unaware of some drinks that should not be taken on an empty stomach، in this context، Dr. Abdul Rahman Shams warned of drinking the following drinks during Iftar meal:
-Acid drinks such as (lemon، orange، etc.)
-Pepsi and 7 up
-Drinking water in large quantity at once.
The body of the fasting person remains fasting for a long period، 17 hours، he explained، and rushing suddenly large quantities of water or juice will surprise the pancreas and secrete insulin randomly، causing the disruption of the pancreas over the days، and stress the liver and kidney.
He advised that the fasting person should break their feasting during Iftar on some wet dates and then drink water in batches like the Sunnah way، three times because chewing dates for several times، the mouth gives a signal and message to the pancreas to prepare the pancreas to begin to release insulin naturally and organized according to the need of the body.
