Ingredients 500 grams Butter (room temperature) 100 grams Icing Sugar Powdered Sugar 15 grams Salt 4 Large Egg Yolks 700 grams Plain Flour All Purpose Flour 100 Custard Powder
Directions Put the Butter، Icing Sugar، Salt، and Large Egg Yolks in a bowl a mix them at a low speed for about a minute. Now increase to medium speed and continue mixing for another 5 minutes. After 5 minutes، this is how consistency looks like. Add the Plain Flour and the Custard Powder into a separate bowl then stir the mixture، then is purified، and mixed in to the consistency a bit of a time. Mix it a low speed، until the flour is just incorporated. Repeat this step، until the flour mixture is finished، then you can use the dough directly، or you can warp it up and store it in the fridge for later use. Take the dough out from the fridge and leave it on the counter at least for a couple of hours before using it. Roll the dough and put it into a pastry icing piping bag، and shape it in to the long figure، then put it in an oven with the temperature of 180°C and bake for 15 minutes or until its golden brown. Enjoy!
Optional: You can top it with some melted chocolate.
Notes: If you can’t get custard powder، you can replace it with 100 gr. corn flour corn starch + 2 teaspoon vanilla essence.
