The secretary of the parliamentary legislative and constitutional affairs committee، Ihab Al-Tamawi said on Wednesday that the new government، headed by Prime Minister Mustapha Medbouli is expected to present its program to the parliament next Saturday. The government will present its program during a general session to be studied and to determine whether the government will continue or not.
In a statement to "Sada El Balad" webiste, Al-Tamawi added that a committee would be formed to study the government's program. It will be headed by one of the parliament deputies (Mr. Sharif or Suleiman Wahdan) and the membership of representatives of the opposition and independent MPs. The committee will include all elements in the parliament to ensure the transparency in studying the program.
He added that the committee will send its report to the general session to take the final approval of the deputies on the continuation of the new government or not. This requires the approval of the majority or more than half of the members of the parliament (300 deputies).
