Director of the Center for Forecasts and Analysis of the Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA)، Mahmoud Shaheen predicted that the heatwave would gradually drop across Egypt beginning from Saturday.

Shaheen revealed Friday in a phone interview with “Extra news” satellite channel  that there will be an increase in humidity rates in most of Egypt’s governorates، especially in Northern Egypt.

The high humidity rate comes due to the summer impact on the country, which began on Thursday, causing a relative rise in temperature, noting that Cairo is currently recording 39 degrees, he added.

Meanwhile, Mediterranean sea face moderate sea conditions, while red sea and Gulf of Suez face turbulent sea conditions.

The director predicted the reduce of the vision in the early morning and the temperature drops 4 degrees.

He appealed to the citizens to avoid the presence of indoor and follow-up their daily activity, and to follow ip the critical weather events, during the summer and humidity weather fluctuations.

Noteworthy، with the small exception of its strip of Mediterranean coastline، the whole of Egypt has an arid desert climate، according to weather and climate website.

Throughout Egypt، days are commonly warm or hot، and nights are cool.

Egypt has only two seasons: a mild winter from November to April and a hot summer from May to October.

Egypt receives fewer than eighty millimeters of precipitation annually in most areas.

Most rain falls along the coast، but even the wettest area (around Alexandria)، receives only about 200 millimeters of precipitation per year.

The best time to travel to Egypt is during the winter، between December and February، when temperatures range between 20 to 26 degrees Celsius (68 to 79 degrees Fahrenheit).

“Extra news” satellite channel broadcasted a video featuring the temperature.
