The Ministry of Antiquities is going to declare details of a newly dug discovery at Sakkara area near Pyramids of Giza.
The joint Egyptian-German archeological mission has succeeded in discovering a workshop of embalming or mummification in that area along with a cemetery including a big number pieces of funerary furniture.
It is worth to mention that Sakkara is an archeological site locates to the west of Giza.
It includse Pyramid of Djoser، of the 3rd dynasty of Anceint Egypt which is considered the most step pyramid in the world.
That area also has 16 royal pyramids.
Sakkara was a burial zone for inhabitants of Memphis، the first capital of unified Egypt.
It has been enlisted among the world heritage of UNEXCO since 1979.
