Superstar، Waed will to perform live a 'female only' concert at Muftaha Theater in Abha city، Saudi Arabia، on July 20.
The concert will begin at 8:00PM (Cairo local time).
Waed، 40، will perform a number of her famous songs، including “Ala Meen”، “Ebed Anny”، “Hatha elli Bagi”، “Ma Nafsak”، and others.
The evening will also feature the performance of Bahraini singer، Hind.
Rotana Audio and Visual Group announced a number of its summer concerts in Saudi Arabia، organized under the theme "Summer_Concerts_In_ Abha" under the auspices of the General Authority for Culture of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi superstar Mohammed Abdu is set to kick off Abha's summer concerts on July 19.
Noteworthy، Hanan Baker Younis، born 16 August 1977، is a Saudi singer and entertainer in the Middle East. She is widely known by her stage name، Waed، which means promise in Arabic.
Waed was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. Her father is Baker Younis، who is one of the founders of the broadcasting station and television in Saudi Arabia and her mother is of Iraqi descent.
At an early age، Waed enjoyed listening to a variety of music and her only dream was to become a singer.
Waed's first appearance on television was when she sang at the age of 7 in a children's program.
She took part in numerous shows in high school as well as in various charitable organization's concerts. Waed's voice is distinguished with an ability to express a character and a performance of her own. This allowed her to perform many songs written by Saudi composers such as Mohamed Abdu and Talal Almaddah.
Waed has made many performances and interviews on various television and radio stations all over the Arab world.
Waed married a Lebanese man for a short period، she had one daughter named "Hasna".
