Islamic preacher، scholar، public intellectual and producer Moez Masoud has announced his marriage to actress، Shery Adel.
Moez Masoud had produced her latest TV series “El-Seham El-Mariqa” (Rogue Arrows)، which premiered during the holy month of Ramadan.
Masoud is 10 years her senior، since he is aged 40، while Adel did not even reach 30.
The couple’s marriage had sparked a great debate in the artistic and media circles، and among social media users.
They have been married for several months after Masoud divorced his former wife last year.
Adel was keen to ignore the comments on the social media after her marriage was announced، and chose to close her phone، running away from the journalists questions on how she married the scholar، and how did their love story begin.
Despite all this، she did not ignore her friends' congratulations on her Instagram account and responded to her close friend، Siham، after she published a picture of her congratulating her on marriage. "God bless you" she said.

Noteworthy، Sherin Adel is an Egyptian actress. Sherin began her career with appearances on advertisements as a child and thereafter she transitioned to television series، imdb reported.
She had her cinema debut at 15 in the "Hamada Yel'ab" ("Hamada is Playing") which was followed by roles on several television dramas such as "Hayyati Inta"، "AL-Mersyo AL-Bahar" and "'Efreet AL-Qirsh". Thereafter Shereen acquired fame following her portrayal of Queen Neriman in the television series "AL-Malik Farouk" ("King Farouk").
She then took part in several cinema works including "Kharig a'n AL-Qanoon" ("Outlaw") and "Kalashnikov" before playing a role in the film "Hassan WA Morqoss". That effort led to her delaying her studies for a little while as she was studying at the French language division of the faculty of commerce.
Sherin intends to study at the Institute of Theatrical Arts or at the Institute of Cinema after concluding her present studies. Later in the current decade she continued in both TV & cinema with a strong appearance in TV in the holy month "Ramadan"، she portrayed a revolutionary role in TV series "Citizen X" as "Sara Abdel Shahid"; next year in TV series "Private Number"، and then as "Hala" in "Temporary Name" in 2013.
