Prime minister، Mustafa Madbouly met today with the Jordanian ambassador to Cairo، Ali Al Aied.
Ali Al Aied adelivered a message of congratulations on behalf of Jordanian Prime minister to Madbouli on his position. Jordanian Prime Minister expressed that he looks forward to continuing the joint relation between Egypt and Jordan.
Madbouli thanked his Jordanian counterpart praising the strong relation between the two sides. He stressed on continuing the mutual economic cooperation between Egypt and Jordan. Madbouli pointed out that president Al-Sisi and the king Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein support the joint relation between the two countries.
Al Aied confirmed that the relation between Egypt and Jordan is a strategic relation. Al Aied pointed out that about one million of Egyptians work in Jordan، contributing in the developing projects. There are about 21 thousand of Jordanians live in Egypt including 3 thousand students، he said. The Jordanian investments in Egypt reach more than LE 1.3 billion in several sectors including medicine manufacturing، he added.
