Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States، Abdel Mahmoud Abdel Halim، said that President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi will pay an a two day official visit to Sudan on Thursday. This is Al-Sisi’s first visit to Khartoum after his re-election for a second term.
Abdel Halim added that the visit comes within the framework of continuous communication between the leaders of the two countries.
It also comes in response to the visit paid by Sudanese President Al-Bashir ahead the Egyptian Presidential elections.
He added that the visit reflects the vitality and specificity of the relations between the two countries and the two peoples.
He pointed out that the Sudanese-Egyptian summit will review the position of the developed relations between the two countries and related efforts to strengthen and deepen them in all fields. The two presidents are set to review outcomes of the numerous meetings of the mechanisms of bilateral cooperation.
