Elissa has reminded the public why she was nicknamed the queen of feeling، after she debuted on July 16 a new song entitled “Krahni” (Hated me) from her new album “Ie kol elli Bihebouni”، on Anghami، which has driven the Arab population in to a frenzy across the Arab countries on the social media.
The song topped twitter trending list and is also currently ranked no.1 on all Anghami new music charts، which is divided into 18 charts.
Krahni gained 677.1 thousand listeners and 61.8 likes over the past two days.
As a result، Elissa tweeted on her Twitter account her state of confusion and happiness saying، "I did not understand what is going on، but I am very happy that you like song # Krahni. The song is very special to me; you cannot imagine how happy I am that it reached you this fast.”
The reason for the song’s huge success is due to the public who is eagerly waiting for what she will release from her new album، especially for what she presents in the Lebanese dialect songs، as many confirmed that the song the same is at the level of her songs " Ya Merayti " (Oh mirror) and “Aa Baly Habibi” (On my mind my love).
The reason also goes to the boldness of the theme song، which revolves around a selfish possessive woman who loves controlling her lover، and despite their over، she asks from him to keep loving her، to prove that there is no love in the life like her’s.
The audience was also attracted to the song like bees attracting to honey due to Elissa's collaboration with her brother Camille in "Karhni" which attracted the audience curiosity to find out if her support to her brother was just a compliment or if he was really talented، in addition to the songs name، which came as a shock، as Elissa always been the singer with the largest stock of romantic songs.
