President Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi received on Friday Sudan's First Vice-President Bakri Hassan Saleh.
Ambassador Bassam Radi، Spokesman for the Presidency said that during the meeting، President Sisi praised the results of his talks yesterday with Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir، praising the spirit of constructive cooperation between the two countries and the keenness of the two leaderships to strengthen bilateral relations and consolidate historical ties.
meanwhile، Bakri Hassan Saleh expressed Sudan's appreciation to Egypt's leadership and people، Ambassador Bassam Radi، Spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic، stressed that the sincere and joint efforts exerted at the level of political relations between Egypt and Sudan over the past four years have been a reshaping of relations between them.
"the president said "we are keen to abort attempts to disrupt relations with Sudan President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi، held a session of talks yesterday evening with Sudanese President "Omar al-Bashir" in the presidential palace in Khartoum. The bilateral summit between Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi and his Sudanese counterpart Omar Al-Bashir kicked off in Khartoum on Thursday evening.
The two leaders discussed Arab، African and International files، in addition to enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
President Bashir welcomed Sisi at the airport، where the national anthems of the two countries were performed during the welcome ceremonies.
The Sudanese-Egyptian summit reviewed the efforts to strengthen the relations between the two countries in various realms، according to the Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt، Abdel Mahmoud Abdel Halim. He added that the two presidents discussed the outcome of the recent bilateral cooperation meetings.
