Egypt runs first electric cars` charging station

Egypt  has started the first experiment to charge electric cars across  the country. A charging station  locates on  Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road.  

Egypt announced constructing  the first 12 charging stations of electric cars last February. They were furnished  by    cooperation between the Armed Forces` Wattania" fuel stations. 
Those stations will be increased to  65 charging stations in seven governorates to encourage the customers purchasing electric cars.

Trade and Industry Minister، Amr Nassar supervised launching the electric charging stations. The ministry prepares   to qualify  infrastructure to serve electric cars around the country.
 Those   stations will be released within  two-year plan on the research and studies of the Egyptian roads and their validity to use electric cars.

An electric car is a plug-in electric automobile that is propelled by one or more electric motors، using energy typically stored in rechargeable batteries.
