90% of Egyptians do not receive proper meal: Health

The results of the National Survey of Non-communicable Diseases، conducted by Ministry of Health، showed that 90% of Egyptians do not receive the proper diet. 
About 17% of Egyptians eat preserved and processed food
The survey also shows that some 80% of the population do not exercise regularly.
Approximately، 63% Of Egyptians suffer somehow excessive weight and other symptoms related to obesity. More than 35% of the Egyptians are obese.
It is worth to mention that overweight is main factor of the contracting diabetes and heart disease.

Dr. Ola Khair Allah، director of the Non-communicable diseases department at the Ministry of Health and Population، confirmed that the survey was carried out on a sample of citizens.
She pointed out that 22.8% of the sample were smokers. The average monthly expenditure on smoking 
She considers that as is a danger bell.
