The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek Al-Molla held a meeting on Wednesday with his Jordanian counterpart Hala Zawati on her visits to the Egyptian Natural Gas Company (Gasco Company)، Petrojet and Enppi.
The two minister reviewed ways of boosting co-operation between the two countries in the field of petroleum and gas. The Jordanian minister listened to a presentation on the potentials of the Egyptian companies as well as the latest technologies and applications used in the field of oil and natural gas.
In another development، a statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum said that the establishment of "Noras-Abu Madhy-Al Gamil" gas pipeline at a total cost of $300 million would be completed by the end of 2018.
The projects include the third phase of development of the Noras gas field in the western Abu Madhy area along with the development and early production of Balteem oil field in the Eastern Delta. The "Noras-Abu Madhy-Al Gamil" pipeline is expected to carry around 700 million cubic metres of gas daily.
