Ambassador Nabila Makram، Minister of State for Migration and Egyptians Affairs Abroad، received Dr. Hisham Al-Askari، Professor of Remote Sensing and Earth Systems Sciences at Shamid College of Science at Chapman University in the US.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the recommendations of the Third National Conference of Egypt's Scientists and Experts Abroad، which was held in Luxor، last February، under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi، and under the title"Egypt is capable with Nile Sons".
For her part، the Minister of Immigration expressed her optimism about the results achieved by benefiting from on the expertise of Egypt's scientists and experts abroad، pointing out that the Ministry is following the implementation of the recommendations of the conferences "Egypt can" in coordination with various parties.
Dr. Hisham al-Askari said that he met with Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aati، Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources to discuss the water challenges faced by Egypt in this period with increasing demand for water internally and the development plans in the Nile Basin Countries. They discussed how to get the maximum benefit in the field of "precision agriculture"، to determine the crop structures in different stages of growth، which maximizes the management of irrigation water and reduce the loss of water.
He added that there is a great qualitative leap already taking place in cooperation with scientists and experts، pointing out that the cooperation of state institutions facilitated many efforts on scientists to carry out their tasks and implement various projects.
