President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi said that the 2018 Africa Forum constituted a platform to emphasize the importance of strengthening multilateral African cooperation frameworks، contributing to economic development and providing more jobs for the African continent’s peoples.
El-Sisi made the comments during the clossing session of the Africa 2018 economic forum in the Red Sea resort town of Sharm El-Sheikh.
Al-Sisi said that the Forum touched ways of developing infrastructure and expanding the base of economic activity، which will top Egypt’s priorities during its presidency of the African Union in 2019.
President Al-Sisi stressed that achieving security، stability and development is the most important way to address the political، economic and social challenges in Africa، as reflected in the sessions held during the forum، based on discussing strategies to attract investments to Africa.
Al-Sisi added that Egypt tends to strengthen private sector and business leaders in all African countries، affirming that he believes in the future of the African continent.
