Al-Ahly striker Marwan Mohsen managed to score twice as Al-Ahly defeated Talae El-Geish 2-0 in a third consecutive win in the Egyptian Premier League this evening. Mohsen scored the opener for Al-Ahly in the 29th minute into the game afer he was left with a simple tap in after a great effort from Mohamed Sherif.
The International striker doubled his tally less than two minutes later، as he got at the end of a loose ball after a poor save by the goalkeeper.
He could have completed a hat-trick in the second half after he failed to score a penalty.
Ahly maintained three wins after suffering two consecutive losses.
The Reds moved up to fifth in the table with 20 points but they will only be three points short of leaders and arch rivals Zamalek if they win their three rescheduled games. El-Geish are ninth on 18 points.
