EgyptAir operated 116 domestic and foreign flights from Egyptian airports on Sunday، the airline's chairman Sherif Ezzat said.
More than 30 flights have been operated to Egyptian airports and resort cities carrying 3،000 Egyptian and foreign tourists with the beginning of the winter season، in which، Egypt Air operates regular flights to Luxor، Aswan، Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada as part of its plan to promote domestic tourism.
In a press release on Monday، Ezzat said all flights will take off as scheduled with no delays، pointing out that the company in adopting the highest standards of quality and safety in accordance with international and Egyptian civil aviation legislation.
Meteorologists predict mild weather on Monday across Egypt during daylight hours، growing cold by night.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts up until north Upper Egypt in the morning. Low and medium level clouds are expected across the northern regions of the country.
Winds are anticipated to be mostly southwestern and moderate، active in the western parts and blowing up sand and dust in some areas. Winds will also be active on the Mediterranean Sea، potentially disrupting maritime navigation there.
