President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi held a meeting Wednesday with a delegation of heads and representatives of a number of major international and regional investment funds.
Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Tarek Amer and Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Dr. Sahar Nasr، Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait and head of the Egyptian Stock Exchange attended the meeting.
During the meeting، the President expressed his keenness to meet the investment delegation to review the latest developments in the economic scene and the promising investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market in various sectors.
In this context، the President stressed that Egypt enjoys many various investment factors، qualifying it to attract foreign investments، including security and economic stability despite the turbulent regional conditions in the region.
The President also reviewed the developments and reform measures adopted by the government to encourage investment and overcome all obstacles facing investors، such as the liberalization of the exchange rate and achieving steady increase in foreign exchange reserves.
For his part، Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt، pointed out to the positive role played by the investment funds in increasing direct and indirect investment flows to Egypt، stressing Egypt's aspiration to attract more investments in various fields through enhancing its cooperation with these funds.
