The first conference of digital education in the Arab world kicks off today under auspice of Cairo University. Algeria، Saudi Arabia Kingdom، Kuwait، Iraq، Oman and Libya sent representatives to attend that conference. Saeed Dhau، Vice-President of Cairo University for Society Affairs and Environment Developing، delivers the keynote speech over opening the conference. It is worth to mention that Egypt and the other Arab states seek to enhance the digital applications at all walks of life. Those states race against the time to bridge the gap of backwardness that cover decades. Most of those states were subjected to foreign occupation of the European superpowers in the 19th and 20th centuries.
