Zamalek SC defeated Ittihad of Tanger 3-1 to advance to the CAF Confederations Cup group stages. The two teams met on the venue of Borj Al-Arab Stadium at Alexandria at 7:00 pm Cairo Local time. Zamalek advanced to the CAF Confederations Cup group stages، meanwhile the two teams drew goalless in Morocco in the first leg of the 32 round of the tournament.
Tanger players however did not just hand over possession to the hosts and used Zamalek’s rush to their advantage launching counterattacks.
One minute before the first half ended، The Whites scored the opening goal when Kahraba sent a cross to Ibrahim Hassan who successfully controlled his ball and converted the cross to Zamalek’s first goal.
A few minutes later Ferjani Sassi almost doubled the score for his side with a header but Tanger goalkeeper stopped Sassi’s efforts.

Yet a few minutes later Kahraba was at it again advancing from the left side sending the ball this time to Omar El-Said who masterfully restored the lead for the Whites.
Youssef Obama ended Tanger’s dreams scoring the third for Zamalek in the 84th minute with a marvelous goal.
