Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouli issued a decree forming a Board of Directors of the Small، Medium and Micro Enterprises Development Authority for four years.
The Board will be chaired by Madbouli and includes Dr. Hala Al-Saeed، Minister of Planning، Monitoring and Administrative Reform، Dr. Mohammed Maait، Minister of Finance، Dr. Sahar Nasr، Minister of Investment and International Cooperationm Dr. Ghada Wali، Minister of Social Solidarity and Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi، Minister of Local Development as members.
The Board will also includes the membership of Eng. Amr Nassar، Minister of Trade and Industry، Dr. Ashraf Sobhi، Minister of Youth and Sports، Lubna Mohamed Hilal، Deputy Governor of the Central Bank for Monetary Stability، and Nevin Jameh، Chief Executive Officer of the Micro، small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The Prime Minister’s decree also stated that the board will include the legal advisor to the Ministry of Trade and Industry Hisham Fathi Ragab، Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Farag، president of the Arab Academy for Science، Technology and Maritime Transport، Dr. Laila Ahmed Mohamed El Khawaja، Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science، Monier Abdel-Wahaab Zahid، former chairman of the board of directors and CEO of Banque du Caire، and Bassel Mohamed Bahaa El Din El Heny، Chairman of the Holding Company for Insurance as experienced members.
