Head of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) Ali Abdel-Aal predicted that cold weather is expected along the north of the country، Lower Egypt and Cairo up until northern Upper Egypt on Monday.
Weather will be warm in southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours، growing very cold at night throughout the entire country.
In a telephone conversation with Sabah El-Khier Ya Masr “Good Morning Egypt” talk show aired on the state-owned 'Al-Oula' TV channel، Abdel-Aal warned of heavy mist that will affect visibility in early hours، predicting rainfall on the northern coasts.
He added that next Wednesday is predicted to see a drop in temperature and wind will be active blowing up sand and dust and reaching storm levels in some areas، as well as thunderstorms. He concluded that such weather fluctuations are expected to continue until Friday.
