Egypt’s PM: Egypt’s foreign currency reserve rise to a record of $42 bln

Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli said that the current challenges facing Egypt did not hinder the government to shape a new future، meet the needs of Egyptians، and achieve better life for coming generations.

In his word during EGYPS 2019 conference، Madbouli added that Egypt 2030 vision covers all areas of national work.

He pointed out that now we can reap the fruits of a long way in a painful reform process and difficult stages in order to achieve positive economic indicators.

He added that Egypt's foreign exchange reserves rose from about $ 15 billion to exceed a record of $ 42 billion، noting that the economic growth rate also increased from 2% to 5.5% in the fourth quarter of last fiscal year.

He went on to say that، foreign exchange flows to Egypt hit more than 163 billion dollars over the past three years.
