Nameerah Najm، legal adviser of the African Union (AU) said that fifty-two African stated have signed documents of ratification of treaty of the African free trade zone. The treaty will enter into force at once. Mrs. Najm added during an exclusive interview with “ Extra News” Satellite Channel aired on Monday، that the African leaders have discussed issuing a pan-continent passport. The unified document will be valid in the 52 states members of the AU. Council of African ambassadors studied characteristics of the envisioned passport to issue it in the near future. She went on to say the leaders also discussed who to activate the common air market among the African countries. She affirmed that market aims to improve air service inside the continent.
