Saudi King receives Palestinian President at Al-Yamama Palace

Given the strength of Saudi-Palestinian relationships; King Salman and President Mahmoud Abbas held talks in Riyadh aimed at resolving the Palestinian crisis.

Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz received Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas، at Al-Yamama Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday.

King Salman affirmed the kingdom's permanent position with Palestine and the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people in establishing its independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Salman held a luncheon in honor of Abbas.

Abbas expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to Salman for the Kingdom's steadfast positions and support for Palestine. 

The meeting also discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian arena.

Noteworthy، Ambassador of Palestine to Saudi Arabia Bassam Al-Agha has said that Saudi Arabia is always stands with Palestine، recalling the donation of $ 150 million to the Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem and $ 50 million to UNRWA in Gaza.

Abbas concluded a visit to the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa yesterday after attending the African Union's regular summit.
