Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi has issued many recommendations at the closing session of the Arab African Youth Platform ( AAYF) in Aswan.
In coordination with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education، the Cabinet will open the door for Arab and African researchers to benefit from the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
Ministry of Higher Education would، in coordination with the National Training Academy، set up a cooperation council including African and Arab Universities in order to promote cultural and scientific coordination.
President Abdel Fatah al Sisi also announced a new initiative to eliminate Hepatitis C among one million African citizens.
He added that foreign nationals will be screened for hepatitis C as part of the current nationwide anti-hepatitis C campaign.
Al-Sisi directed the administration of World Youth Forum (WYF) to form a teamwork of young Arab and African to promote cooperation between the African continent and the Arab region in all the fields.
In his speech، Al-Sisi called on Arab and African youth to hold on to their dreams، to be determined to achieve them، and to work hard to make their countries stable and more peaceful.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi also honoured a number of distinguished youth figures from Egypt، the Arab world and Africa in military، media، telecommunications، architecture، IT، social media and sports.
