Dr Mohamed Moeet، Minister of Finance، said that government plans to reduce deficit of the public budget to 7.2% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP ) by 2020. He added that government also plans to up the rate of growth to 6.1 a year along with a surplus in the public budget estimated at 2% of the GDP every year. He went on to say that there are plans to reduce the public debt and increase percentage of investment. It is worth to mention that the minister attended on Tuesday a forum named “ Discussing aspects of taxing of special importance”. Participants in that forum discussed new mechanisms of taxing and how to fight tax evading.
