Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouly and his Iraq’s counterpart Adel Abdul Mahdi witnessed on Saturday the activities of the Economic and Commercial Forum between Egypt and Iraq، in the presence of a number of ministers and businessmen from both sides. Prominent businessman Mohamed Abul Enein، the Honorary speaker of the Euro-Mediterranean parliament، attended the forum. Madbouly welcomed the Iraqi delegation assuring the depth of the relations between the two countries. He also conveyed the invitation of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to the government to push forward bilateral relations between the two countries. Dr. Mustafa Madbouly pointed out that one of the most important tools of joint work agreed between the two countries is the establishment of joint companies. Egypt has taken important steps in this way in many countries of the African continent، he added. Medbouly reviewed Egypt's experience in the economic field during the last four years. He pointed out to achieving positive indicators، including the growth rate of 5.6%، and the drop of the unemployment rate، noting that the National projects provide about 900 thousand new jobs per year. The Prime Minister pointed out that Egypt is ready to transfer its experience in all sectors to Iraq. Meanwhile، The Prime Minister of Iraq expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality. He also expressed his happiness with the fruitful discussions held with President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and with the Egyptian Prime Minister. In addition، Abdul Mahdi expressed his desire to boost Bilateral cooperation in various sectors، to meet the aspirations of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
