Egyptian Defense Minister، General Mohamed Zaki، received his Chinese counterpart General Wei Fenghe and his accompanying delegation.
A reception ceremony was held for the Chinese minister at the headquarter of Egypt's ministry of defense.
The two ministers discussed the challenges on the regional and international arenas and their reflection on security and stability in the Middle East.
They reviewed a number of files of common concern and discussed ways of increasing security and military cooperation mutual training and experience exchange between both sides.
Gen. Zaki praised the Egyptian-Chinese military relations that maintain the security and stability in the region.
For his part، Fenghe confirmed that his country agrees with Egypt on many common concern files.
He said China seeks further cooperation with Egypt in defense and security fields.
Chief of Staff of the Egyptian armed forces, Mohamed Farid, senior officers and the Chinese ambassador in Cairo also attended the meeting.
