Egypt’s Prime Minister، Dr. Mostafa Madbouli، met today with Mark Green، Director of United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Dr. Sahar Nasr، Minister of Investment and International Cooperation، Charge d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Cairo and Ambassador، and Assistant Secretary of State for American Affairs Reda Habib، attended the meeting.
Dr. Nader Saad، spokesman for the Cabinet، said that Madbouli stressed at the outset of the meeting the great importance of the relations of cooperation and the strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States.
He expressed Egypt's appreciation for all the support provided by the United States to Egypt over the past decades through USAID programs.
The prime minister expressed the government's aspiration to strengthen cooperation with the agency in the coming period، noting that the government also attaches importance to cooperation with civil society as a key development partner in the country.
