Joint Egyptian-British military training “Ahmose-1” concluded its activities today Monday at Mohamed Naguib military base in Egypt with the participation of Egyptian and British ground troops. The activities included raising combat readiness، preparation and organization of planned training activities that began with the knowledge and integration of forces involved in training from both sides. the activities also included ways of combating Improvised explosive devices and fighting in cities day and night. Egypt's assistant defense minister، Maj. Gen. Ahmed Wasfi، conveyed the greetings of Minister of Defence and Military Production Mohamed Zaki and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Mohamed Farid to the troops participating in the training. Maj. Gen. Ahmed Wasfi expressed his pleasure with the participation of the British forces in the implementation of training for the first time on the land of Egypt، looking forward to more joint exercises in the future.
