More than six million Israelis will go to polling stations across their country on Tuesday morning to vote in the 21st Knesset elections to choose the party that is supposed to form the country's 35th government. this comes At a time of intense competition between the Likud party، headed by Benjamin Netanyahu، who leads the right wing، and the " Blue and White party، headed by former chief of staff Benny Gantz.

The voting percentages in these elections represent the greatest challenge of both parties، especially the Likud party، where Netanyahu fears that the low voter turnout among the right-wing supporters could lead to the win of the " Blue and White party " party with the largest number of seats، although the issue of the number of seats will not determine the formation of the government.

The Israeli law allows president Reuven Rivlin، to choose the person who will be assigned to form the next government. this means that the number of seats that one of the two parties will have is not the last factor in forming a government as it is known that the president assign the person، who is believed to have the greatest opportunity to build a stable governing coalition، and has a majority of at least 61 members of the Knesset.

Well، there are a number of factors that predict Netanyahu ‘s winning in these elections، this can be felt by the fact that he was the person who was willing to hold these elections months ago. The original date for the Knesset elections was in November، not in April.

Netanyahu exploited all the chances، especially the "security" factor، which shows him as the only person capable of leading Israel، he exploited the Iranian and Hamas files to the fullest.

Netanyahu should thank the rocket launchers from the Gaza Strip, which are, in general, missiles that are militarily ineffective, but overall, Netanyahu has made important electoral gains, perhaps the main reasons for his possible victory, as they were followed by intensive Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, Which affects the citizens of Israel, and thus served his position at the electoral level.

It is not only the security fears, yet in the last few hours, Netanyahu has been keen to motivate voters from right-wing supporters by casting doubt on the likelihood of losing the elections.

He has said more than once that there are fears within the Likud party that low voter turnout would mean a 4-5 seats in favor of the Gantz party, a matter which means that Netanyahu exploited the factor of "fear" to the fullest to encourage right-wing supporters to elect him.

Netanyahu expressed his deep concern, and said that the scrutiny of the recent polls results proves that there is a problem within the right wing, especially the Likud, and thus leave the impression that there is a danger, as a plot to increase rightists’ turnout.

But there are other factors, which may weighout Netanyahu, including the elections gifts presented to him by Major countries’ leaders, as The US President, Donald Trump has recognized recently the Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, in addition to what have been circulated lately regarding “The deal of the century”.

Moreover, Russian president, Vladimir Putin has granted Netanyahu another big gift represented in the return of the remains of Zechariah Baumel, an Israeli soldier killed during a 1982 battle in Lebanon.

Just one thing remains, and it could be a decisive factor in the elections which is “The US’s Deal of The century”, as the White house announced that it will uncovers the details of the deal after the Israeli elections. Thus the question is “Which Israeli candidate Washington is ready to deal with as partner in this controversial deal? And “which of them is ready to adopt the sensitive items of the deal”.
