Egypt’s Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker held a meeting Wednesday with CEO of German Siemens Co. Joe Kaiser on the sidelines of the fifth Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue in Berlin on April. The meeting was attended by Egypt's Ambassador to Germany، Bader Abdel Aati. During the meeting، Kaiser expressed his pride over the current cooperation relations with Egypt، especially with regard to the establishment of three power plants in Egypt at a record time of only 28 months.
He also praised Egypt's pioneering experience in modernizing the electricity sector as an inspiring model for many countries worldwide.
For his part، Shaker stressed the importance that Egypt attaches to the development of cooperation relations with the German company، especially that Siemens is considered an important partner for Egypt within the country’s desire to launch more cooperation projects related to the electricity sector Energy and electrical connections between Egypt and neighboring countries and Europe.
