Egypt’s Zamalek، also known as the Whites، avoided a second-leg draw in the CAF Confederations Cup quarter-finals by securing a narrow win against Morocco’s Hassania Agadir 1-0 on aggregate.

Zamalek’s winger Ibrahim Hassan broke the deadlock after a goalless first leg by scoring after 48 minutes when he shot Mahmoud Alaa’s deflected shot into the net.

The Whites suffered a huge blow when Tunisian midfielder، Ferjani Sassi، had to be subbed out due to injury in the 16th minute.

Hassania Agadir’s first threat came when they were awarded a foul outside the box in the 21st minute; however، Jala Daoudi’s shot came wide above Gennesh’s goal.

Three minutes later، Hassania Agadir most dangerous chance came through Imad Kimaoui who’s shot was deflected off the post، followed up by El Berkaoui’s shot، which went wide.

Zamalek will face the winner of the remaining quarter-final clash between Tunisia's Etoile Sahel and Sudan's Hilal.
