According to the statement، the South African tourists are members of the group of 25 tourists whose bus was hit by an explosion near the pyramids on Sunday morning.
The IED explosion shattered the glass of the bus، injuring at least 14 tourists.
Al-Mashat visited the injured in El-Haram Hospital، before going to the pyramids with another group.
No group has claimed responsibility so far for the attack.
The governor of Giza Ahmed Rashed and the South African Ambassador to Egypt accompanied the tour group.
