Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Jordanian counterpart Aymanal-Safadimet Tuesday to exchange views on several issues of mutual concern، topped by the Palestinian cause and the latest developments in Syria، Libya and Yemen، according to Egypt Today.
This came during the ministers' talks in Cairo to explore means of promoting bilateral ties at various levels، according to a statement issued by spokesperson ofthe Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez.
The statement reported that the two sides discussed the distinguished ties between Egypt and Jordan، voicing their mutual willingness to push forward bilateral cooperation in line with the directives of the political leaderships in both countries.
Shoukry and Safadi also discussed means of strengthening mechanisms of joint Arab action to ensure security and stability of the Arab world.
Hafez's statement added that the two sides agreed to maintain mutual coordination to serve mutual interests and fulfill the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries.
